Fiza holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Politics from York University. Her passion for family law developed during her undergraduate studies through her work at various law firms and her volunteer experiences with children.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario and was subsequently called to the Ontario Bar. While in law school, Fiza obtained certification in mediation and a real estate license. Following her studies, Fiza completed her articles at a family law firm, where she gained hands-on experience with cases involving the Office of the Children’s Lawyers, the Children’s Aid Society, and various financial and parental disputes. This role allowed her to develop valuable trial skills and experience in collaborative family law. Fiza is committed to offering a personalized approach for each client, recognizing that every case is unique.
Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and experimenting with recipes alongside her friends and family. Fiza is also fluent in Hindi.
