Daniel obtained his Bachelor of Arts with Honours from York University with a major in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Daniel was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. While in law school, Daniel volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, assisting clients with disabilities access legal services. In addition, he worked as a caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic where he regularly advocated for clients dealing with landlord and tenant disputes.
Before joining Horra Family Law, Daniel articled at a firm specializing in family law, civil litigation, and criminal law. He went on to practice family law exclusively as an associate at a boutique family law firm in Burlington. During his time there, he represented numerous clients in a wide range of family law matters from contentious custody disputes to property division.
Daniel is passionate about providing both empathy and rigorous advocacy for each client in recognition of how sensitive family law cases are. He values the opportunity to ease the burden for clients facing such a complex and difficult time in their lives.
Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys foodie culture, exercising, and spending time with family.
