Asal Mahmoudian | Associate Lawyer

Before embarking on her legal career, Asal earned her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) degree specializing in Psychology from the University of Toronto. This academic foundation provided her with a deep understanding of human behavior and interpersonal dynamics, which she seamlessly integrates into her practice.

Asal then went on to obtain her LL.B. from City Law School at City, University of London in London, England. During her time in law school, Asal volunteered at several Legal Clinics in low-income communities, advocating meaningful access to justice for those who needed it most. Following law school, Asal further enhanced her legal knowledge by returning to the University of Toronto to obtain her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.

Asal completed her articles in a boutique law firm where she gained considerable experience in family law, wills and estates, and business law. Since being called to the bar Asal has exclusively practiced in the area of family law and has successfully litigated on behalf of her clients at the Superior Court of Justice as well as the Ontario Court of Justice. Asal's practice is characterized by compassion and a resolution-focused mindset. She understands the emotional and personal challenges that often accompany family law matters and is dedicated to diligently advocating effective results for her clients as well as providing empathy and support needed during these difficult times.

Outside the courtroom and the office, Asal enjoys spending quality time her family, friends and especially her dog. She is an avid traveller, and a food enthusiast who loves trying out new restaurants. Asal is fluent in English and Farsi.
